My guiding principle is to contribute towards simplifying and enhancing our work to rich our highest potential.
SUPERVISING/DIRECTING
I'd like to talk more in detail about all the things I do as a storyboard supervisor/director and why all of this matters when working on a production, and makes a huge difference between having an easy and organized production that flows vs a disorganized nightmare.

Modeled 3D Backgrounds
Is very important for me that artists have a clear understanding of size relationship, distance, use of space and have a good base to create interesting compositions. Sometimes in the production we don't have the assets on time before an episode kickoff and depending on the importance and my availability in time I'll try to give the artist a base to work of off, approved by the director of course. This is a model I did for a personal project that I'm using as an example to show you how much clarity this gave me to work on my project, and how having this on the different productions I've worked on can greatly help our artists.

Created a code for Storyboard Pro
Efficiency is crucial to me, and I prioritize avoiding time wastage on repetitive tasks that can be automated. This emphasis proved especially vital in my recent production. I crafted a script to simplify the panel renaming process, transforming what used to take hours into a matter of seconds at the press of a button.

Implement AAF or XML Process
As a Storyboard Pro and Toon Boom Harmony expert, I've played a key role in optimizing the collaboration between editors and storyboard artists in various productions. Whether it's Avid or Premiere, I possess the expertise to seamlessly implement and troubleshoot the integration. I've encountered challenges in the past, working with individuals resistant to change. Through teamwork, patience, and guiding them through the process, we successfully established a workflow that resulted in collective satisfaction with the outcomes.

Certified Official Storyboard Pro and Harmony international instructor
As a former College teacher and first ToonBoom brand ambassador, I have the experience to teach the usage of these tools internationally. I've successfully trained artists on various productions, equipping them with the skills to proficiently utilize the tool, even if they initially had no prior knowledge.

Documentation, Documentation, Documentation!
These are merely examples of the titles for various documents I've crafted for the productions I've contributed to. Well-informed artists, equipped with these documents, can avoid common mistakes, experience less confusion, and channel their time more effectively into their work.

Boarding/Re-boarding/Revising/Noting sequences.
I've dedicated many years of my career to mastering my artistic craft. Thanks to my blend of technical and creative skills, I've devised various structures to simplify the process of working on both complex and straightforward storyboards. This approach has significantly contributed to achieving in a simplified way more cinematic results when having to improve a sequence.
