Hi! I'm a Storyboard Supervisor and Senior Storyboard Artist, and my journey in animation started early when I produced my first short film at 16, which earned recognition in a Latin American animation contest.
My passion for animation led me to study Animation, Digital Arts, and Multimedia at Universidad del Valle de Atemajac. During my college years, I won first place in the SOLACYT animation contest in Latin America and second place worldwide for another short film created using Toon Boom.
For my thesis, I created animated videos on personal defense for women in Jalisco and donated them to nonprofit women’s associations. Afterward, I joined Crash Down Studios in Shanghai, where I advanced from junior to senior animator. In my free time, I created a short film selected for the Cannes Film Festival, where I had the chance to walk the red carpet and network with industry professionals.
I’ve had the honor of being a Wacom brand ambassador and teaching animation at La Marista University, where I transitioned the curriculum from Adobe Flash to Toon Boom. Later, I became Toon Boom Mexico's brand ambassador, promoting the program’s potential. In 2018, I became the youngest representative on the board of directors for the Jalisco Institute of Information and Technology.
Teamwork is the cornerstone of my career, and I believe that being a team player is essential. I love collaborating with my peers and helping in any way I can to bring out the best in every project. Whether it’s troubleshooting issues or offering creative input, I’m always eager to contribute and make the workflow smoother for everyone involved.
I worked as a storyboard artist at Rainmaker-Mainframe Studios in Vancouver, where I promoted Toon Boom's Storyboard Pro with tutorial videos and became the fastest Latin American to complete certification in Toon Boom Harmony. I also conducted official webinars in Spanish. My storyboard experience includes working on Dreamworks Animation’s "Megamind: The Animated Series" and "The Dragon Prince," where I crafted key action sequences and pivotal moments that received praise from the creators.
Currently, I’m a Storyboard Supervisor for an upcoming Netflix series, where I introduced a new pipeline with AAF exchange between Avid and Storyboard Pro. I also developed a custom code that transforms lengthy tasks in Storyboard Pro into quick actions. I’m always eager to foster a collaborative environment and create stories that resonate with audiences.
